On Sunday, Adacia Avery Chambers was being held on four charges of second-degree murder, per the Associated Press. Earlier in the day, Payne County District Attorney Laura Austin Thomas said  Chambers will "likely" be charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, according to Matt Dinger of NewsOK.com.

Oklahoma State said Chambers is not a student and was not part of the parade, according to Cody McDonell of KWTV in Oklahoma.

CNN provided further details regarding the incident:

"As we learn more about those killed and injured in what was a senseless and incomprehensible act, our hearts ache from the weight of the grief we feel," Oklahoma State president Burns Hargis said in a statement on Sunday, via Phillip O'Connor of NewsOK.com. "We ask everyone to lift up the families who lost their loved ones and those injured in your prayers. We are reminded once again of what is truly important in life - family and friends. The OSU family is deeply saddened."

CBS News provided a photo of Chambers' mugshot:

Prior to the start of the contest, the Cowboys congregated on the turf at Boone Pickens Stadium to pray for the victims, per Fox Sports 1:

Saturday was supposed to be a day of celebration for an Oklahoma State team that has exceeded expectations in 2015 and is very much in the running for a Big 12 title.

The focus has instead shifted toward this tragic incident.
