Myles Simmons of StLouisRams.com announced Ogletree has been placed on the IR with the designation to return.

How Ogletree's Injury Impacts Rams

On a team that is known for its defensive line, Ogletree has proven he can follow the play with the best of them, leading the Rams in tackles in each of his first two seasons in the NFL.

He came into camp this summer new and improved, dropping some weight to gain a step, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Joe Lyons

"I wanted to drop a little weight and get in better shape, so that I can fly around and make plays," he said, via Lyons. "I’m ready to go. ... Things are definitely slowing down for me out there. I’m comfortable in the defense and have a pretty good idea what the coaches want and expect of me."

Ogletree has is a great security blanket, even when the offense does cross the line of scrimmage. At 3-3, the Rams are at crucial juncture in the season and need every bit of help they can get to ensure they continue trending in the right direction.
