Notre Dame's 39-Yard Bomb Beats Virginia with 12 Seconds Left, Devastates Fans

Virginia was a prayer away from beating Notre Dame on Saturday, but a 39-yard heave from backup quarterback DeShone Kizer to wideout Will Fuller with 12 seconds left gave the Fighting Irish the 34-27 road win.

The Cavaliers weren’t expected to upend the No. 9 team in the nation, so coming this close was a real heartbreaker for fans.
