Marcus Smith Injury: Updates on Eagles LB's Hamstring and Return

Tim DanielsAug 21, 2015

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Marcus Smith has recovered from a hamstring injury suffered during practice on Aug. 20, and according to Tim McManus of 97.5 The Fanatic, he is active against the New York Jets for Week 3.

“He’s been back training with us for a couple weeks now, and we’ve built him up,” Kelly said, per Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. “So he’s been full and I don’t think we’ve seen [that he hasn’t caught up].”

"It was not as bad as I thought it was. Three weeks is probably the most," said Smith following the injury, per Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer on Aug. 21. Although his projection was off, he's finally ready to play.
