Pettigrew's Return Pushes Wright to Sidelines
A few years ago, Pettigrew's injury would've had a bigger impact on Detroit's passing game. Across his peak 2010 and 2011 years, he averaged 77 receptions and roughly 750 yards per season.
Since 2011, his numbers have been steadily declining. In 2014, Pettigrew caught 10 passes for 70 yards. He also started just nine games, the lowest single-season total of his seven-year career. In 2015, he has just three receptions for 29 yards.
With Pettigrew returning for Week 8, Tim Wright was ruled inactive.
