Creature Vs. Creature Writers Pool: Results After Chevy Rock & Roll 400

Kelly CrandallSenior Writer ISeptember 13, 2009

The Chase field has been set and the point standings have been reset. Denny Hamlin took the checkered flag in his home state for the first time in his career while his teammate, and popular pick, Kyle Busch was locked out of the Chase.

Now that we head to New Hampshire to start the last ten races of the season and start the pursuit of a championship, which means that our Creature points will be reset as well. All Creatures were given 5,000 points plus an additional 10 points for any wins they racked up during the season.

Here's how everyone is reset, along with where their pick finished in Richmond, and how many points they have as we head for New Hampshire next weekend.

Adam Heasely (5,030) No Pick Sent (3)

Kara Martin (5,030) Kyle Busch finished fifth (3)

James Broomhead (5,030) Denny Hamlin won (3)

Ben Bomberger (5,020) Kyle Busch finished fifth (2)

Kelly Crandall (5,020) Kyle Busch finished fifth (2)

SM Napier (5,020) Kyle Busch finished fifth (2)

David Phillips (5,020) No Pick Sent (2)

Danielle Henderson (5,020) Kevin Harvick finished ninth (2)

Rob Tiongson (5,010) Jimmie Johnson finished 11th (1)

Jen Preston (5,010) Kevin Harvick finished ninth (1)

Kyle Ocker (5,010) No Pick Sent (1)

Mary Jo Buchanan (5,000) Kyle Busch finished fifth (0)

Now that the Chase has begun the Creatures can only pick a driver once over the course of the final ten races.
