Metta World Peace Called for 5 Fouls in 1 Minute, Leaves Game After Scuffle
It's a good thing the man formerly known as Ron Artest doesn't go by Metta World Peace on the court anymore, because he wasn't so peaceful in a recent Lega Basket Serie A playoff game.
Artest World Peace The Panda's Friend currently plays for the Italian team Pallacanestro Cantu. As his team's season was in its final minutes against Umana Reyer Venezia, The Panda's Friend was involved in an on-court scuffle and eventually ejected.
According to the play-by-play, his ejection came after referees whistled him for five fouls in one minute.

Tempers flared after a Pallacanestro Cantu player was fouled while driving to the hoop. One thing led to another, and The Panda's Friend quickly got involved in an scuffle with another former NBA player, Julyan Stone.
There was some jawing going on down on the court, but this incident didn't escalate to much more than that. The Panda's Friend's teammates were able to restrain him and keep him from doing anything else.
However, after referees got things settled following the scuffle, they asked him to leave the court.
Sportando tweeted that he has been suspended for his actions:
Pallacanestro Cantu's season ended with the 88-73 loss, so the suspension will be hanging over World Peace's head during the offseason.
