Phil Jones' brave bit of defending during Manchester United versus Arsenal stopped Olivier Giroud breaking through on goal—and gave birth to plenty of freeze-frame images and memes.

The defender, who has a reputation for being a bit ungainly at times, had slipped with Giroud on his shoulder, but despite lying flat on the ground, he managed to nod a header away.
