It's May, and the Colorado Rockies' Coors Field Is Completely Covered in Snow
The Colorado Rockies are scheduled to play the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday afternoon, but it looks like Mother Nature has different plans.
Yes, Coors Field is completely covered in snow. In May.
Update
The Rockies staff went to work and cleared all the snow. Play ball!
End of Update
Rockies reliever John Axford couldn't believe his eyes:
Denver Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware has the right idea:
Less than 24 hours prior, Saturday night's matchup between the two teams had been postponed due to rain.
The game is still scheduled to be played, as the Rockies staff is working its tail off.
It looks like snow in May is somewhat of a trend in Colorado, so it shouldn't be too surprising that the Rockies are remedying the situation.
