The Return Of Dead Man: Good For The WWE Bad For Cm Punk

Hello everyone. As always, I would like to thank all of you for spending some time with me today.

Well as we all know by know the Undertaker is officially back on the active roster. While I am happy to see the dead man back I do have a couple concerns. I have to wonder how smart it is to throw taker right back into the championship mix.

It is not that I am opposed to seeing him become the champion again. In fact I hope he gets another decent run as champion before he retires. The only concern I have is that it will come at the downfall of CM Punk.

I can honestly tell you that I am not the biggest CM Punk fan in the world. I don’t dislike him or anything; it’s just that I don’t care about him. That being said, I can’t help but feel bad for the guy.

He has been made to look like a chump as a champion. It seem like every time he gets a little steam going for him they take the belt of him. I haven’t seen someone made look week like this since Edge.

I just don’t see how it can be a winning situation for either wrestler. If the Undertaker looses he looks weak on his big return. If punk looses they make him look worse than they already have.

Why couldn’t the WWE have taker just start a meaningless feud on his return? They could have him feud with Kane and then build in a feud with Punk. At least if they did something like that Punk could remain champ a little longer.

I also wonder how much taker has left in the tank. He just recovered from surgery and they are throwing him into a main event match as soon as he returns. That is not to say he isn’t ready, but wouldn’t it make more sense to nudge him into the schedule.

I do understand why the WWE is doing it. Despite smackdown being the better show the ratings still continue to be in the toilet. Pushing Taker into the Title scene could only help the ratings.

The Undertaker is still a big draw even when he works half a schedule. So it would only make sense to put him in the spotlight. It will be interesting to see if he will still be able to deliver the goods though.

Like I said before I am happy to see the dead man back. So I don’t want people to think that I am complaining, but is the return of the dead man worth destroying punks already weak credibility?

In this wrestling fans mind I don’t believe it is.

I would like to thank all of you again for spending some time with me today.

As always, have a safe and blessed day.
