Royal Challengers Bangalore Crush Delhi Daredevils
3 of 4
Royal Challengers Bangalore (99/0) beat Delhi Daredevils (95) by 10 wickets.
Delhi Daredevils were held to the lowest run total of this year's Indian Premier League campaign by a superb bowling display from Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Chris Gayle and Co. did the rest to secure a dominant win.
Bangalore have been in fantastic form after a poor start to the season, and Sunday's performance was undoubtedly their best yet. Behind the bowling brilliance of Mitchell Starc and Varun Aaron, there was simply no stopping the squad.
Shreyas Iyer was dismissed by Starc on the very first ball he faced, setting the tone for a sensational over from the Bangalore bowlers. Mayank Agarwal (27 from 34) did well to put some runs on the board, but he would be one of just three batsmen to crack triple-digit runs.

Kedar Jadhav added 33 from 29, but his effort seemed almost futile in the grand scheme of things. ESPN Cricinfo's Freddie Wilde was in awe of what he was seeing, particularly given Bangalore's early struggles during this IPL season.
Starc ended the innings with three wickets and just 20 runs conceded―Aaron added two more wickets while giving up 24, the highest mark out of all Bangalore bowlers.
Chasing a measly target of just 95, Gayle and Virat Kohli wasted no time finding the boundaries, with the West Indies star chipping in 62 runs from 40 balls and his Indian team-mate taking care of the rest.

Imran Tahir was held without a single wicket, a rarity during this IPL season, but the Delhi bowlers shouldn't receive too much criticism for their performance on Sunday. Defending a total of 95 against the likes of Kohli, Gayle and AB de Villiers is simply impossible.
Speaking to ESPN Cricinfo, JP Duminy didn't mince his words:
"We were outplayed in every department. Lot of lessons to be learnt out of the game. They took wickets at regular intervals and we could not build a partnership. We have a few days off and we need to regroup and pick it up again.
"
Bangalore are quickly becoming the hottest team in this year's IPL and currently sit fourth in the standings, just one point behind Kolkata Knight Riders. With Starc in the form of his life and Gayle starting to find his rhythm as well, Royal Challengers will present every single team with a tough challenge.
Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals may still field the deepest squads in the IPL, but when everything's clicking, there may not be a side with more top-end talent than Bangalore right now.
Kolkata Against Rajasthan Rained Off

Kolkata Knight Riders vs. Rajasthan Royals Abandoned Without a Ball Bowled
It did not look good for any play on Sunday morning with torrential rain coming down in Kolkata and all the covers on at Eden Gardens.
The rain did stop eventually, but with huge amounts of standing water on the outfield, play always seemed unlikely, per the IPL:
"Well it has stopped raining, but there is so much standing water that the covers are barely being moved #KKRvRR #IPL pic.twitter.com/K0IWcpfL4g
— IndianPremierLeague (@IPL) April 26, 2015"
The two umpires inspected the pitch and the outfield numerous times but were never satisfied that conditions were playable.
Eventually, the game was called off for good and a no result called, with both teams sharing the points to see Rajasthan back to the top of the standings.
KKR face Chennai next up on Tuesday, while the Royals' next fixture is against Bangalore on Wednesday.
