Commissioner Garber

David? Would you come here for a moment, please?

DAVID

I'm sorry. I was late. I was having lunch at Spago.

Commissioner Garber

I need to talk about your flair.

DAVID

Really? I have mentioned over 15 times how cool I think the MLS is this week. I, uh, (shows him)

Commissioner Garber

Well, ok, 15 is minimum, ok?

DAVID

Ok.

Commissioner Garber

Now, it's up to you whether or not you want to just do the bare minimum. Well, like Landon, for example, has praised our single-entity closed franchise league 37 times this week. And has a terrific smile.

DAVID

Ok. Ok, you want me to say more?

Commissioner Garber

Look. Becks.

DAVID

Yeah.

Commissioner Garber

People can get their soccer anywhere, ok? They come to MLS for the atmosphere and the attitude. That's what the flair's about. It's about that special blend of pep and parity. After all, you don't have to worry about relegation or promotion, and remember, I write your paycheck.

DAVID

Ok. So, more then?

Commissioner Garber

Look, we want you to express yourself, ok? If you think the bare minimum is enough, then ok. But some people choose to say more and we encourage that, ok? You do want to express yourself, don't you?

DAVID

Yeah. Yeah.

Commissioner Garber

Great. Great. That's all I ask.

DAVID

Ok.
