Sunderland 1 - Chelsea 3 (Premier League, August 18, 2009) (Longer highlights here.) Darren Bent claimed his second goal in as many games to put Sunderland one-up at home to Chelsea. Carlo Ancelotti’s side proved their title credentials in the second half, first Michael Ballack swept the ball home from a corner, Frank Lampard put the Blues in front from the penalty spot and Deco completed the win with a fine strike.
