I think I am going to call out sick to work for the next two days.

This PGA Championship is going to be one knockdown, drag-out exciting good time.

I think we are going to see some real fireworks. The field of golfers in the event at Hazeltine is simply amazing. Hear me out.

We have Tiger of course, still reeling from his dispute with John Paramour at the Bridgestone. And he is paired with Padraig Harrington again. Yes! Not to mention Rich Beam teeing off with the group who is always fun to watch.

We also have two of the most exciting young international players in Rory Mcllroy and Chris Wood playing this week, Wood who finished one stroke behind Stewart Cink in the British Open. Keep close tabs on these boys, for they are the future my friends.

I am always a sucker for a good redemption story. Every major I hope that John Daly will give me one, he never does but it is all right. I will route for the Big Lion regardless. And he will be sporting his signature Loud Golf wardrobe no doubt.

Over the course of the last ten years, Sergio Garcia has frustrated me more than any other golfer out there. Watching him throw temper-tantrums and whine his way all over the world was a huge burn on my buns. Garcia also, has never won a major.

Something has changed recently. For some reason, I don’t mind Sergio as much anymore, I think he has grown up, and so has his game. We will see what happens but for once, I won’t be routing against him.

That’s only seven. There are 149 more golfers playing this week at Hazeltine. Including Phil, Cink, Glover, Singh, Duval, Couples. The list goes on and on.

I can’t wait until 2pm when coverage starts on TNT. I have to start working on my sniffle now.
