Tarzan good, Chicago Cubs bad

JoeSportsFan by Senior Analyst Written on August 11, 2009

I received the following picture from various people yesterday, so I imagine it must be making the rounds - especially in the St. Louis and Chicago's south side regions.

A few things at work here and our fan hunters have been graciously asked to analyze the effort.

Let’s take a look, shall we?

Chicago Cubs Tarzan

1.) The whole Chicago Cubs malevolence is a bit played. There, I said it. That said, total family costume unity is impressive; especially when it involves your wife.

2.) Pristine sign grammar and spelling. A lost art these days. And getting that plural possessive apostrophe correct? Bravo, my friend.

3.) Gotta love the youngest member of the clan, displaying his family insurgence by tying his loin cloth on the opposite shoulder and refusing to go bare chested. Rage against the machine, bud.

4.) It must be pointed out; if these were, in fact, “uniforms” worn by the Cubs at their last World Series…they probably wouldn’t be wearing Chicago White Sox hats. Just saying.

Side Note: Have something you’d like to see analyzed by our well tenured (read: extremely smug and self-righteous) fan experts? Keep sending those puppies in to matt@joesportsfan.com.
