Davis Limited in Practice With Knee Injury
Thursday, Jan. 15
Josina Anderson of ESPN reported the news:
Mike Wells of ESPN reports head coach Chuck Pagano is hopefully Davis, along with fellow corner Greg Toler, are ready to roll by Sunday:
"Colts coach Chuck Pagano said he doesn't think the injuries will cause either player to miss Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots. He hopes both players will practice Thursday.
"
On Thursday, Wells noted Davis still didn't have his helmet on while at practice:
Davis played very well in the team's upset victory over the Denver Broncos last week. He racked up eight tackles and defended five passes as the Colts played an aggressive brand of defense. It would obviously be a major setback if he's unable to recover in time to face Tom Brady and company.
