It is very and I mean very rare to find such a complete basketball player in the NBA that averages a triple-double these days, No one has even come close to averaging a triple-double since Oscar Robertson averaged a triple-double in the 61-62 season and records indicate that he averaged a triple-double even before that. But now the NBA has found that rare founding and that is Lebron James, Lebron has career averages of 27.5 points, 7 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game making him nearly close to Oscar Robertson who averaged 25.7 points per game, 7.5 rebounds, and 9.5 assists per game, Lebron James is really close to averaging a triple-double, even Oscar Robertson himself thinks that Lebron might average a triple-double in the NBA some day.

Lebron James is nothing short of amazing, we all see his amazing plays while in the game but if he accomplishes this I think that he can call himself the greatest player in the NBA and the fans will have to agree too.

Here are the steps I think that will help him average a triple-double like Oscar Robertson did.

1. Score less, Lebron has always been a scorer but for him to accomplish this feat he would have to lower his scoring to about 25 or 26 points per game, that way he has ways for more scoring options for his teammates that are open.

2. Set this feat as a goal for yourself, if Lebron tells himself that he can average a triple-double for the season then he can. I think that if he let's it sink into his mind he will have it all figured out about how to average a triple-double for a season while in the NBA.

3. Lastly, Lebron has to tell his coaches and teammates about why he wants to average a triple-double for the season and I think with their help he will ultimately get it done.
