Richard Sherman Mocks Colin Kaepernick's Passing After Thanksgiving Day Win
Richard Sherman made a promise and delivered on it Thursday night.
“I told [the 49ers] sideline if they threw it my way I would end the game,” Sherman told ESPN.com’s Terry Blount.
This exact sequence played out on Thanksgiving, with Sherman grabbing two interceptions and snuffing out any chance the 49ers had of putting together a scoring drive during Seattle’s 19-3 victory at Levi’s Stadium.

1 Sentence Describing Every NFL Team's Nightmare Scenario 😱
After the game, Sherman made a comment regarding Colin Kaepernick’s earlier statement that he would “throw to whoever’s open” when the two teams met Thursday night.
The Seahawks cornerback rehashed Kaepernick’s words:
“There was a guy, an opponent, who said that he was throwing to the open man. He didn’t care who was out there,” Sherman said. “I was the open man.”
Sherman’s words are another handful of salt in the 49ers’ wounds. After making his second interception, the Seahawks cornerback hushed the dwindling San Francisco crowd and later would eat turkey on the field alongside Russell Wilson. Sherman drank Kaepernick’s milkshake during the game and ate his turkey afterward.
While 49ers fans have plenty to be upset about while sorting through the rubble of this loss, they can at least take solace in one thing: They’ll always have their yams.
