Kevin Harvick's victory was overshadowed by the wild scene, which stemmed from Keselowski hitting Hamlin during the cool-down lap. The two drivers had words after the race, and Hamlin had to be restrained. Kenseth, Hamlin's teammate at Joe Gibbs Racing, then chased down Keselowski, leading to a scuffle between the two crews.

Hamlin provided his thoughts on the matter, via ESPN's NASCAR Twitter feed:

As ESPN's Marty Smith pointed out, the post-race actions from Kenseth were out of character:

Still, the 42-year-old veteran seems to have plenty of support in the animosity toward Keselowski and his actions. Jeff Gordon also commented on the matter, albeit in a slightly more reserved manner, via Fox Sports' Jay W. Pennell:

Keselowski shot back with his own retort, via NASCAR on ESPN:

Smith had more from Keselowski:

It's an absolutely wild way to end the night, and with all three racers still alive in the Chase, next week's race at Talladega Speedway is going to be extremely interesting.

WCCB Charlotte's Kelli Bartik had Kevin Harvick's thoughts on how the new format impacts things:

We can only hope that everyone is on their best behavior on the track, but judging by Saturday night, there's no guarantee in that coming to fruition.
