Not Quite Boise State Breaking News, but Close Enough To Report No. 7

Well, here we go again. For the last two weeks it has been Boise State at the Big House in Michigan, and recent gossip has the Broncos going to Oklahoma State. Heck, if there is nothing to report there, then report nothing.

It’s kind of like that '70s song by Kenny Nolan “I like Dreaming.” Although in reality, dreaming sucks, so let's get some new data if there is any.

What’s up, Bleymaier? If you locked down this game, then why is it that Bronco fans are getting their news through the rumor mill? Will somebody from BSU please confirm?

Murphy from the Statesman said that not even the Hokies are confirming this game. Bleymaier will undoubtedly come strolling in sometime with something concrete on the 2010 opener, like how much the Broncos are making. But maybe this really isn’t a guaranteed game. Till then—Go Broncos?

Mountain West

Might as well finish off this article with the Mountain West report.

There is another rumor that the MW is reconsidering adding the Broncos as a 10th team. Well, this should make a lot of the whining Bronco fans thrilled.

However, what’s the big deal about the Mountain West? They are a fine conference, much like the WAC, but not really that much better. So what if they have three good teams and six that are run of the mill?

The WAC has one solid team, and Nevada and Louisiana Tech are stepping up along with Fresno State and Hawaii. So what’s the big deal? Why would the Broncos want to be added to another Non-BCS affiliation?

Prior to the MW losing its legal argument with the BCS, they wanted nothing to do with a Bronco addition.

But now they feel that the Broncos might strengthen their dreams.

Oh well, there’s that Nolan song again. Too sweet for me, and that’s another story.
