UFC 103 is going to be headlined by Rich Franklin, no doubt. Against who is another question. It is rumored that Dan Henderson will fight Franklin at UFC 103.

Dan Henderson is coming off of a huge knockout win over Micheal Bisping at UFC 100. He said he would love to have a rematch for the middleweight title against Anderson Silva. He also said if he does not recieve that shot he will move back up to Light-Heavyweight.

It would be an awesome fight to see Henderson fight Franklin for that shove both of them need to step into the number one contender ring. Franklin has had a couple of fights in the Light-heavyweight division since leaving the Middleweight division. Henderson of course former Pride Middle and Light-heavyweight champion.

Dan Henderson is the only real opponent for Franklin at this time. Everybody else is busy with their own fights and training in this division.

Henderson won their first fight due to split decision back in January at the 205 weight. Henderson would be an awesome fight for the light-heavyweight or the middleweight title holder.

Franklin on the other hand just signed a six fight deal that could be his last with the UFC. So that throws a curveball into this fight stream.

The UFC should think about this. Should they give him a shot at the title if he wins to keep him or should they let him go afterwords. It matters what Franklin wants. Franklin is 25-4 in his MMA career, so he might be ready to hang up the gloves.

So if this fight goes through then Anderson Silva might be looking at a different opponent than Henderson at his next fight after UFC 101 with Forrest Griffin. It all depends on what the UFC wants to do and what these fighters want to do.

I thank everyone for the reads, tell me what you think.
