Breaking Down WWE 2K15

As discussed above, the biggest news from this year’s game is the inclusion of former NWA, WCW and TNA legend Sting.

There were rumors that swirled about the relationship between WWE and Sting over the last several months, but the company revealed The Icon’s involvement in the game with one of the coolest trailers fans will ever see.

Sting has finally taken his talent to WWE.

In a report from TMZ, Sting has not signed a deal to wrestle for the company yet, but he is open to the possibility. He also claims he wants to wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. For the fans who purchase WWE 2K15, they will have the chance to create the dream match first.

While Sting’s inclusion has stolen the headlines, hardcore gamers will be happy to know that 2K Sports has utilized both Visual Concepts and Yuke’s to form a top development team that should produce a high-quality product.

The focus on the development of better gameplay will result in improvements across the board, and many of the issues that have plagued the series in the past should be resolved after a full year of development and testing.

The NBA 2K series has some of the best visuals in sports games, and the designers took full advantage of the next-generation consoles. The hope is that many of the lessons learned from the hit basketball series will be translated over to WWE 2K15.

There is already a buzz surrounding the release of the next WWE game, but there are still serious questions about modes, rosters and more.

Many fans are most interested in the roster release, but hardcore wrestling fans want to hear the details surrounding this year’s franchise mode.

Last year’s theme was WrestleMania Moments, and there has been rampant speculation about what this year’s story mode would be. The involvement of Sting could indicate that a Monday Night War theme will be included.

Regardless of which direction 2K Sports goes for WWE 2K15, it is clear that this is going to be a game that both hardcore gamers and hardcore wrestling fans can enjoy together.
