In case you felt like falling in love with Alex Morgan again, you should know she’s exceedingly skilled on the driving range.
The U.S. women’s soccer forward recently uploaded video to Instagram of herself teeing off at a golf complex in Houston. For someone who spends all her time on the pitch, Morgan smacks a mean iron.
She sets up with minimal waggling, adjusts her hips and does a decent job of keeping her head down through contact. Based solely on this tiny bit of film, I can confidently say Morgan would wreck me if we played nine holes.
Naturally, Morgan celebrates her success with a celebratory dance that will certainly send men everywhere scrambling to write awkward love letters and tweets.
Here’s a small taste of the Instagram reactions to Morgan’s video:
“I think I love you...”
“Your extremely prefect. (sic)”
I read Harry Potter. Morgan would totally be a prefect.
Jokes aside, Morgan’s golf game is the inverse of USA teammate Sydney Leroux’s. The Canadian-born forward tried cranking off a Happy Gilmore shot this February to less-than-spectacular results.
How not to Happy Gilmore. https://t.co/e86P9h5Ecw— Sydney Leroux (@sydneyleroux) February 27, 2014
I’m putting down Morgan for a par on this one, while Leroux—well, I don’t even know where to begin scoring that.
Get your girl some help, Alex. You’re practically Arnold Palmer compared to your teammates.
