WrestleMania XXX will feature a 30-man Battle Royal.

The legendary Hulk Hogan booked the match during Monday night's episode of Raw, using it as a way to honor one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Andre the Giant.

WrestleMania's official Twitter feed confirmed the news:

At the very least, it's intriguing.

Randy Orton and Batista are scheduled to battle for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Daniel Bryan is clashing with Triple-H, with an opportunity to clinch a spot in the main event. Undertaker will be taking on Brock Lesnar. John Cena and Bray Wyatt will square off.

However, this likely gives an opportunity for wrestlers lacking direction, wrestlers who otherwise wouldn't have been included on the card and even young up-and-comers to have a moment at the biggest event of the year.

Matt Hardy put it simply:

As soon as the match was booked, speculation began to run rampant about who would be included.

The electrifying Kofi Kingston, who has always been good for at least one scintillating spot at each Royal Rumble, immediately threw his name in the hat via Twitter:

Zack Ryder also hinted at his inclusion:

Later on Raw, Ryback and Curtis Axel—two wrestlers who have dropped off significantly after big pushes a few months ago—as well as intercontinental champ Big E were announced as participants.

Again, this isn't likely a game changer for WrestleMania. But it's an entertaining match—for the uninitiated, all 30 participants start inside the ring—that sets up for lots of mayhem and big spots, giving participants an otherwise unattainable chance to shine.
