Manchester United's best chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League is winning this year's competition. Considering how poorly David Moyes' men have played this campaign, this is looking something of a herculean task.

Olympiacos stand in the Red Devils' way.

This round of 16 first-leg encounter takes place at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens, an arena in which the hosts remain unbeaten throughout the Greek Super League season. Only Paris Saint-Germain have left with three points in Europe this campaign, signalling a difficult task for the Premier League champions.

We decided to tempt fate with a FIFA 14 simulation on Xbox One. Although we've had some stinkers in recent weeks, this turned out to be a cracker. Sit back, relax and enjoy.

Olympiacos vs. Manchester United: FIFA 14 Highlights

Final Score: Olympiacos 3-2 Manchester United (Jose Holebas, Giannis Maniatis, Marko Scepovic; Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie)

So, there we have it. What a corker of a match! United looked dead and buried in the tie before half-time but an excellent second-half performance produced two away goals and hope of an overall comeback when the Old Trafford fixture arrives.

For Olympiacos, there's plenty of work to be done. After accumulating such a huge lead, conceding a duo of away goals makes this closer than it probably should be. Interestingly, Skybet have got odds of 40/1 for the score to finish at 3-2 in the real world.
