It was another action-packed week for Americans playing abroad, topped by the transfers of Juan Agudelo and Michael Parkhurst.
Julian Green, Aron Johannsson, Terrence Boyd, Jose Torres and Paul Arriola found themselves among the goalscorers this week, and Oguchi Onyewu picked up an assist.

In the English Premier League
Brad Guzan was at the center of controversy this weekend in the English Premier League as Aston Villa took on Liverpool. Guzan came out and slid on a play against Luis Suarez and with no apparent contact, Suarez went to ground. Liverpool was awarded a rather dubious penalty which Steven Gerrard converted. The match finished 2-2.
Maurice Edu looks to finally be set to end his nightmare stint at Stoke City, with reports that a move to Major League Soccer is in the works. Since his move from Glasgow Rangers, Edu has played a grand total of 10 minutes in two seasons with Stoke.
Geoff Cameron put in his customary 90-minute shift for Stoke City at right-back. The Potters lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace.
Sebastian Lletget was not involved for West Ham’s 3-1 loss to Newcastle.
The Bundesliga will be back in action next weekend, but there is still some news to report.
