Gaston Ramirez Gives Shirt to Young Everton Fan, Gets Booked

Gaston Ramirez learned a tough lesson during Southampton's defeat to Everton: Don't do nice things for young fans.

The Southampton star scored his side's equaliser in the second half, but if he upset the home fans, he made up for it by running to the Toffees and handing his shirt to one lucky fan.

The boy was clearly delighted with the shirt and was, as you can see above, pictured with it outside the ground following the game.

However, rules are rules, and the shirt-off celebration cost Ramirez a booking from the referee.

Thereafter Ramirez had to play the rest of the match in a shirt which didn't have his squad number—and to make matters worse, Everton rapidly got back in front through Romelu Lukaku's goal, which proved to be the winner.
