Did you just win the lottery? Oh good, because I have a terrific way for you to spend some of that money.
If you're in the market to drop a cool million on a basketball game, then the matchup between the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 23 is one for you. For that game, tickets are going for the bargain price of $1.1 million.
That's not a joke.
As you can see from the screenshot up above, there are legitimately tickets going for $1,100,002.49 apiece on StubHub that will allow you to gain entry at the AmericanAirlines Arena for this clash.
Apparently this is the game to attend. Kobe Bryant should be back in action after fully rehabbing his ruptured Achilles, and he'll be battling against LeBron James throughout the contest.
At the time of publication, the cheapest tickets for the game were balcony seats for $131.20, but the view is obviously much worse from way up in the nosebleeds. Wouldn't you much rather spend a few more bucks and sit close enough that you can grab LeBron's headband as he sprints down the court for a transition bucket?
Assuming you were a billionaire, would you spend a million bucks on a basketball game?
There are also courtside seats available for only five figures, but that seems rather pointless.
If you're going in style, get the best seats available. And make sure that you save the receipt, as you'll want to brag that you dropped a million dollars on a basketball ticket for the rest of your life.
Now, if any of you are seriously thinking about purchasing these tickets, please go ahead and send me a friend request on Facebook or a DM on Twitter. I'd love to be friends, and I hear these courtside seats make fantastic presents during the holiday season.
