US Open Tennis 2013 Schedule: When and Where to Watch Remaining Rounds

The intensity and stakes are getting higher at the 2013 U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, as third-round action is set to conclude this weekend. 

While a handful of notable upsets have opened up certain sections of both the men's and women's draw, the favorites are still alive and looking strong through the early rounds. 

The Big Four have cruised on the men's side, while both Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka look poised to meet in the final for a rematch of last year's epic women's championship at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

But with plenty of matches still to be played, there are no guarantees.

Below we'll get you set with everything you need to know to make sure you don't miss a minute of the remaining action at this year's U.S. Open.

Djokovic, Nadal on a Collision Course?

The two favorites to win the men's championship before the tournament began, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, look destined to meet for the title for the second time in three years.

Both players enter the third round of the men's singles draw without having dropped a set. While Djokovic is the world No. 1 and a hard-court stud, Nadal has been putting on a hard-court clinic in 2013, winning all 17 of his matches on the surface and claiming ATP Masters 1000 titles in Indian Wells, Montreal and Cincinnati. 

The two superstars have met at the U.S. Open twice in the past, with Nadal beating Djokovic in the final in 2010 and the Serb returning the favor a year later.

In their 17 hard-court matchups, Djokovic leads Nadal 11-6. Meanwhile, the Spaniard has taken seven of their 10 Grand Slam matches. However, all three of Nadal's Grand Slam defeats to Djokovic have come in Grand Slam finals.

The two best players in men's tennis at the moment have met 36 times in the past, but a 37th meeting this summer seems almost inevitable.

Will Anyone Stop Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka?

Like Djokovic and Nadal, the top two players in women's tennis, Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka, have been on cruise control through the first week of play at Flushing Meadows.

Neither player has dropped a set through the early rounds, and the draw works out so that the two wouldn't meet until the tournament's final next weekend. 

Currently the world No. 1, Williams leads the all-time head-to-head 12-3, but is just 3-3 against her younger rival in tournament finals. What makes this potential championship showdown even more intriguing is the fact that Azarenka has won the last two hard-court meetings between the two players. She defeated Williams in the final at Doha earlier this year and most recently in the final at Cincinnati in lead-up to the U.S. Open.

Williams is 7-0 against Azarenka in Grand Slam matches, dating back to the 2008 Australian Open. However, with the world No. 1 nearing age 32, it's only a matter of time before the 24-year-old Belarusian breaks through against the 16-time Slam champion on the big stage.

For now, the only question is whether any of the other players remaining in the women's draw can stop them from reaching the final?
