When all else fails, it's best to just defy gravity.
The first video shows the entirety of the JBC 4X Revelations race that saw the star of the show, Michal Marosi, take a nasty fall at about the :35-second mark.
You only need to listen to the tone in the announcers' voices to know that even they think Marosi is out of the race.
Well, there was one guy who believed he could still win the short run, and that happened to be Marosi.
He hopped back on his bike and did just enough to get back into the race at one of the final turns. It just so happened that the turn featured a huge wall that served to make this race a viral video sensation.
Consider the fact that the racer just took a fall moments earlier, and yet, he was still willing to daringly go above the competition on the wall and hop back down at the end.
One tiny and unexpected maneuver from another cyclist or a miscalculation on Marosi's part would have delivered an even bigger tumble.
Instead, we have an awesome moment to share with all our friends. Oh, and because we live in a magnificent time, there is another angle.
From that angle you can truly appreciate how Marosi used the wall to race around the bend but also how he timed his leap to the ground perfectly.
I won't pretend to be an expert on these races, but I know what I like. It just so happens that watching someone using a wall to mount a stirring come-from-behind victory is among the things I rather enjoy.
Something tells me you agree.
