Tennis Impersonator Josh Berry Does Rafael Nadal for Real Spanish Star
Josh Berry is very good at doing tennis stars, because Rafael Nadal had no problem picking out each perfect impersonation.
The video is just the latest to feature Berry as he transforms into some of tennis' biggest stars. What makes this clip all the more special is it featured Nadal, who was being quizzed on each imitation.
To be fair, Nadal does have difficulty picking out just whom Berry is doing at the start of the video. It makes sense when you consider the subtle vocal inflections that pepper Andy Murray's usual speech.
It's not like he is as flamboyant in his speech patterns as other stars, so Nadal needs a moment before giving the correct answer.
Some may have spotted Berry working his magic at Wimbledon in the video posted below, making him one of the sport's budding stars—one who doesn't even need to pick up a racket.
I have to say, there is always a little trepidation when I hear there is some new impersonator tackling celebrity mannerisms.
For every new and innovative imitation, there is a Christopher Walken or Arnold Schwarzenegger that we have seen and heard a million times before.
Thankfully, Berry is pushing the game forward with his awesome take on tennis' biggest and brightest personalities.
Now as for Nadal on Nadal, you could tell the Spaniard wasn't sure how to take Berry's impression at first, which had to be weird, to say the least.
It's not every day that you see your figurative doppelganger performing all your inflections and speech patterns in front of you. It seems both men passed the test, because Nadal ended with a chuckle and a smile, much as we all do whenever Berry launches into one of his impersonations.
