Radamel Falcao and Javier Hernandez

    Manchester United have joined the race to sign Colombian international striker Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to offer Mexican forward Javier Hernandez plus £27 million in cash for the £47 million-rated Falcao (via Daily Mail).

    Falcao (pictured), 27, joined Atletico from Porto in 2011. He has scored 22 La Liga goals in 27 appearances this season. Manchester City and Chelsea are also interested, according to the report.

    Hernandez, 24, has scored eight goals in 16 Premier League appearances, 10 as a substitute. He joined United from Chivas in 2010.

    Previous reports suggested United have already made a down payment for Falcao, but the Daily Mail reports that United have only recently shown interest.

    According to talkSPORT, Atletico manager Diego Simeone has rejected reports linking Falcao to United.

Luis Suarez

    Juventus could resume their interest in Liverpool's Uruguayan forward, Luis Suarez, and make a summer bid, according to TuttoSport (via Daily Express).

    Suarez, 26, leads the Premier League with 22 goals this season. He joined Liverpool from Ajax in 2011 and was linked with Juventus last summer.

    Recent reports have suggested Suarez might leave Liverpool for a club in the Champions League (per Liverpool Echo).

    Bayern Munich are also thought to be interested.

Raphael Varane

    Manchester United are watching Real Madrid center-back Raphael Varane and could make a move this summer, according to the Daily Star.

    Varane, a 19-year-old French international, has established himself in Real's first team this season, making 11 appearances in La Liga. According to the report, United tried to sign him from Lens in 2011, when he chose Real instead.

    Varane reportedly has a contract until June 2017, with a release clause of around £26 million.

Iker Casillas

    Spain international goalkeeper Iker Casillas "has received offers" to leave Real Madrid this summer, according to AS (via Football Espana).

    Casillas, 31, has spent his entire professional career with Real Madrid, winning five league titles and two UEFA Champions League crowns. He has reportedly clashed with manager Jose Mourinho this season and has not regained his starting spot following an injury.

    AS specifically names Arsenal and Liverpool as potential suitors.

Alvaro Negredo

    Borussia Dortmund have offered Sevilla €18 million for Spain international forward Alvaro Negredo, according to Marca.

    Negredo, 27, has scored 17 goals in 28 La Liga appearances this season, is expected to leave Sevilla this summer. According to the report, he could replace Robert Lewandowski, who is expected to leave Dortmund.

    Negredo joined Sevilla in 2009 from Almeria. Chelsea, Tottenham and Everton are also thought to be interested.
