WrestleMania XXIX is only a few weeks away.

With several of the bouts being rematches, the WWE may have found a way to inject some excitement. After all, WrestleMania should be the place where fans are left with their jaws wide open, where events in the ring wouldn't happen anywhere else.

WrestlingInc.com is reporting that WWE creative have come to a decision on the bout between Triple H and Brock Lesnar. The current idea includes involving another former world champion. The article states:

The current plan is for Triple H to defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 29. The feeling is that he has to win because Lesnar beat him the first time, "broke his arm" twice and broke Shawn Michaels' arm as well. There has been talk of using Michaels in the storyline again so Michaels can have a WrestleMania role.

This is a fun development. With Triple H being more of a company man now, it wouldn't be surprising to see him lose. Lesnar is signed for two more years of competition, while Triple H is not confirmed for any more matches after WrestleMania (as of yet). He could let Lesnar win the feud and continue on a hot streak.

On the flip side, there's no surprise that Triple H would succeed in gaining revenge against Lesnar. It makes sense storyline-wise for the face to get the win after having his arm broken twice and losing a high-profile bout at SummerSlam.

What really makes this bout shine is the possible inclusion of Michaels. The Showstopper has rarely been seen on television since Lesnar broke his arm in August of 2012.

It is doubtful the WWE would have him return for the storyline and not get involved with the match. Having him return to WrestleMania would bring a level of excitement to WrestleMania it desperately needs.

Michaels has a history of making history at WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania X he faced Razor Ramon in the event's first ladder match for the Intercontinental title. At WrestleMania XII he faced Bret Hart in an Iron Match that had to go into overtime to decide a winner. Up next was WrestleMania 23, where he took John Cena to the limit.

Finally, at WrestleMania XXIV he ended the career of Ric Flair.

This isn't to say that Triple H and Lesnar won't have a good match; they'll have a fantastic match. Their backstory, coupled with the revenge theme, makes for good storytelling. But adding Michaels back into the mix is what sells it.

WWE.com poses this question about Michaels:

Ask any Superstar on the WWE roster who the most gifted sports-entertainer of all time is and nearly everyone will have the same answer—Shawn Michaels.

It is unclear what his role would be, but if WWE creative wants his involvement at WrestleMania, it can only be a win-win situation. He is Hall of Famer who won every title available to him during his career.
