WWE News: WWE Diva Kaitlyn Arrested at Live Event

Gone Baby GoneJun 7, 2018

Even I have to admit, that the title sounds like something out of a WWE storyline.

However, it's not, as TMZ.com reports:

"

It all went down at the Van Andel Arena ... sources tell us the 26 year old was taken into custody by the Kent County Sheriff stemming from an old speeding ticket.

Were told shortly after she arrived at the arena police showed up with a warrant ... she was hauled to a nearby police station where she was booked and took a pretty impressive mugshot.

A short time later Kaitlyn -- real name Celeste Bonin -- was released on a $315 bond.

Kaitlyn released a statement to TMZ .. saying, “During a previous visit to Michigan, I was cited for a traffic violation. I am fully cooperating with authorities to resolve the matter.”

Fortunately, this arrest wasn't drug or alcohol related. Sadly, that tends to be the case for most wrestlers when they get taken into custody. Overall, I am sure this is embarrassing for the Diva and she will probably do her best to take care of this matter immediately.

Let's face it, Kaitlyn has been a vital part of the Diva's division as of late, and it would be a shame to see her lose her spot over something like this. Ultimately, the WWE is no stranger to controversy, as many of its stars have had trouble with the law.

Luckily, this generation of WWE stars have learned from their forefathers and have mostly kept their noses clean. Even though, some of today's stars have been suspended for Wellness Policy violations, only a select few have been arrested for matters outside of the ring.

As of this article, Kaitlyn has yet to comment on Twitter regarding on this situation. Quite honestly, I would be surprised if she does. Ultimately, if she's not asked about it, there's no need to bring it up. Especially considering that this was a minor offense, and no one was harmed.

In the end, as the article mentioned, she is out on bond and will likely not miss any tour dates.
