One Atlanta TV broadcaster has a very specific skill that allows him to call a football play before it even happens.
Only, it happened just once and it involves a pair of high school football teams. We aren't sure if this new-found power quite makes him a superhero or some sort of evil genius in waiting.
It may take some time to decipher.
Yahoo! Sports reports PlayOn! Sports color commentator R.J. Lewis was in the booth for an Atlanta high school game between Rockfort and Douglass.
We imagine the entire game was a bit of a bore seeing as how the score is 54-0 at the time of the perfect prognostication.
Out of nowhere, Lewis states, "you've gotta go out on that limb. A bobbled snap, scoop it in for the score, it could happen."
And that pretty much happens.
Sure, he was throwing caution to the wind and trying to jazz up an out-of-control game. He may have been trying to give the few Douglass fans still watching reason not to fall asleep completely.
Still, Douglass is getting routed, so making any prediction in their favor would be ridiculous, let alone a defensive touchdown.
At this point, Lewis should give up the commentary game, because he will pretty much never get this close to another call again.
