German Genius Cannonballs into Frozen Swimming Pool, No Ice Harmed

Cannonball! 

There are almost too many things to love about this video (h/t Larry Brown Sports, The World) of one German daredevil coming up with pretty much the best idea ever. 

The video is fairly obvious right away. A European bro is going to jump into a swimming pool. Then comes the realization that the pool is frozen over, leaving you with a couple of expectations. 

The fact that it's presented here tells you that he fails so phenomenally, the very video has gone viral. 

Watch and enjoy, but be warned there is some barely audible NSFW language. 

And that, my friends, is how you nearly break your back and completely shatter your ego in one ludicrous leap of faith. 

At the very best, our pal here would have plunged into an ice-cold pool of water. As we just found out, the worst happened. 

The jacked-up Steve-O lookalike gets tattered by a bad decision, and we reap the rewards. 

If you are wondering how that feels, consider cannonballing into the sidewalk at some point today. You will pretty much get a rough estimate to what this guy was feeling. 

Just make sure you get a buddy with a maniacal laugh to record the whole thing, because such antics are well received by the Internets.
