Today was the first of two cut days, and the Houston Texans have finished making all the necessary moves.
Let's review them all and I'll give you my initial thoughts on each one.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Randy Bullock placed on IR.
Shayne Graham for one year and Bullock next season? I'll take it. Now someone go kneecap DeVier Posey.
Darryl Sharpton placed on PUP.
This kid is important. He needs to get better within six weeks.
Ra'Shon "Sunny" Harris waived/injured.
Tough luck for all involved. Hope Shaun Cody and Earl Mitchell stay healthy or Hebron/Loni Fangupo is ready to work by midseason.
Greg Williams waived/injured.
Who?
Waived
Nick Mondek, 6th round draft pick.
Wonder if he'll make his way to the practice squad.
Released
I guess they feel good about the young corps; this team loves vets who have worked in the system before.
Kasey Studdard.
Ditto the young guards.
Torri Williams.
A bit of a surprise to me, though they've generally liked what they're getting out of Jackson, and Harris has come on in a big way. That really crowds the cornerback position, with guys like Roc Carmichael still fighting for a spot. Could make the practice squad.
Davin Meggett.
Your guess for 3rd RB was as good as mine. All of them did some good things with their time.
Bret Hartmann.
This tells me they're happy with Donnie Jones' ability to punt (and hold, so I hear), and Shayne Graham's kickoff ability. (Interestingly, Bullock was having trouble putting it in the end zone.)
Derrell Smith.
Changing positions is hard, especially on a talented team going places.
Thomas Austin, Mario Louis, Omar Gaither, Jimmy Sadler-McQueen.
Who?
Now What?
There is, of course, another cut coming this week after Thursday's game.
And even once the team is down to 53, don't expect that to be the exact roster for opening day, if the past is any indication.
