Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal Not Done in Transfer Window, Says Arsene Wenger
Following his side's second scoreless draw in as many weeks, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the Gunners are still in the hunt for more players over the summer transfer window.
The manager spoke out after Arsenal's 0-0 draw to Stoke City, where they simply lacked the cohesion and final punch to truly threaten the home side. And whilst he refused to comment on individual players that the club are interested in, Wenger did indicate that the North London club would be active over the final days of the transfer window.

"I'm pleased with what we've done [so far in the transfer window], but I anticipate we will do something and we are still on the market.
It depends on the quality of the players who are available. If we can find somebody who can strengthen our squad with the quality we want, we will do it in any position...

The Gunners have already been busy over the transfer window—adding to their attack by picking up Santi Cazorla, Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski—and selling 29-year-old Robin van Persie to Manchester United for a solid transfer fee.
But the question remains: will Arsenal sign anyone else before deadline day, and if so, who will they sign?
Arsenal have been reportedly interested in several players throughout the summer transfer window; some of the most notable being Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila and Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin, who has recently completed a one-year loan deal with Liverpool.
And whilst Arsenal still remain interested in M'Vila, the Daily Mail also reports that they could be preparing a bold move for Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote—believed to be preparing a bid for around £20 million for the Ivory Coast international.
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is most likely not going to let go of his star midfielder, but for the right amount of money, could well find it beneficial to sell him to the London club. And should that happen, the report suggests that Wenger would turn his attention back to the club's long-standing transfer target in M'Vila.
The transfer deadline does close at the end of the month—meaning that any deal must be completed in the next four days for Arsenal.
What will the Gunners do in that time and who will they make a move for, if they make a move at all?
I guess we'll find that out soon.
