Mike Garafolo of the Star-Ledger confirmed this report, adding:
Uh oh, HIGH ankle sprain for Prince Amukamara. That's much different than the low variety. #nyg— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) August 25, 2012
The Giants can ill-afford to lose members of their secondary. Amukamara was slated to be the team's starter opposite Corey Webster, and losing him for any amount of time is going to be a big blow to the team.
