"....and excuse me, may I have you attention please."

Damien Sandow interrupted the proceedings in his most awesome way to announce that he would be downloadable content. He did not state when that would be available, but I am definitely looking forward to that.

AJ Lee will also be DLC.

You can see the artwork for the entire roster at THQ's website.

Even though this is a pretty large roster, there are some notable omissions.

Unless there is a forthcoming announcement, there will be no Kurt Angle or Ryback in the retail version. Those were two of the names I was listening for. It's still possible one or both of them could be added as DLC.

I doubt Sandow will be in a DLC pack all by himself, unless it's free.

The highlights were the inclusion of Bret Hart and British Bulldog, but I would have also liked to have seen Owen Hart included. There are entirely too many great superstars to ever be all-inclusive, and that's one of things that makes the create-a-wrestler so important.

Cory LeDesma and Bryan Williams of THQ spoke briefly about beefing this option up for WWE 13, but there is more to come on this front.

The gameplay was on display throughout the live stream, and I must say I was pleased with what I saw. For those that were inquiring, you can now stand on the announcers table and perform moves.

That is awesome.

I also noticed more details in facial expressions, and an overall improvement to the visual quality.

The hype machine just hit another notch on this game. If you want to keep up with all the key information about WWE 13, check out the WWE 13 tracker.

It will be updated with all the details that are revealed leading up to the October 30 release.
