Today begins the countdown—26 days until the first Oregon football game, and the start of a season Duck fans will never forget.

To get us in the mood, I thought it would be fun to look at new photos of some team members. Photos are all courtesy of the most excellent Andy McNamara, Football SID at the University of Oregon.

This first photo features offensive lineman, redshirt freshman Andre Yruretagoyena. Andre Y is modeling one of the new jersey options for the 2012 Ducks. Hey, waddayaknow, it's green and yellow!

I don't know about you, but these crazy eyes on Kyle Long would scare the heck out of me if I was playing opposite him.

Is it my imagination or are his arms too big for the armholes?

This kid is an absolutely crackerjack addition to the 2012 Ducks. I can't wait to see him play.

What is this slightly blurry No. 28?

It's brand new frosh Eric Amoako taking a picture of his jersey. The 5'11", 190 lbs DB out of Arlington, Texas, joins the Ducks' roster with his twin brother, Stephen.

There is much excitement surrounding the 3-star twin recruits.
