The Quietest WrestleMania Ever: WrestleMania XI

WrestleMania XI was in the Civic Center in Hartford, Conn., on April 2, 1995. The Main Event was not a title match. It was Lawrence Taylor vs Bam Bam Bigelow in a Lumber-jack match that was the Main Event.

That was the only bright spot out of WrestleMania XI because the card was blank as in not much potential. The WWE title match was Diesel vs. HBK as Diesel would win in probably HBK's worst WrestleMania match and it really wasn't his fault.

That card was short and bleak and it was at a time were WCW was taken off and WWE was going down slowly.

The year before WrestleMania X was in MSG and the Main Event was Bret Hart vs Yokozuna were Bret Hart won but HBK stole the show in the ladder match against Razor Ramon.

Why didn't HBK steal the show at WrestleMania XI it was probably because in the prime of his career they decided to let Bam Bam get the spotlight I have nothing against to Bam Bam (God rest his soul) but HBK should have went to WCW after the slap in the face by Vince by not putting him in the Main Event at WrestleMania and even if that meant put HBK vs. Taylor that would have been more entertaining for the fans.

The WWE missed a lot of opportunities for WrestleMania XI as it would be the quietest one since WrestleMania IV and especially VII, so do you think that WrestleMania will ever have a quiet WrestleMania again?
