Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners Must Bring in Interested Yann M'Vila

When a talented 21-year-old player says clearly and without reservation that he is interested in joining your club, you must act on it. That is the situation Arsene Wenger and Arsenal find themselves in.

Frenchman Yann M'Vila was quoted by Hetho of the Daily Star:

“I like Arsenal and I like the Premier League but I don’t know what is happening with the clubs, though.

“But I would be interested in the Premier League—and Arsenal.”

It doesn't get more plain than that. He is currently playing for France in Euro 2012, but it hasn't stopped him from showing interest in Arsenal.

This isn't the first time M'Vila has showed strong interest in Arsenal.

The Daily Star quoted M'Vila back in April with this from Mauro Galluzzo:

"If the coach calls you and tells you he wants you to make you play, especially a French coach, it changes everything."

Obviously, the French coach he's making reference to is Wenger.

M'Vila is a star looking for a big stage to perform on. He has drawn interest from other clubs, such as Inter Milan and Real Madrid, but M'Vila is seemingly willing to take less to play for Wenger and Arsenal.

He will almost certainly leave Rennes before the beginning of the next Ligue 1 campaign. Arsenal must ensure that he is playing for them at that time.

M'Vila's fearless style, passing and physical presence as a tackler makes him an attractive possibility. At his age, his best football is ahead of him, and this seems like a no-brainer for Wenger.
