Multiple reports claim that R-Truth either severely sprained or broke his foot during WWE's recent tour of Spain.

It has also been reported that, during the tour, Zack Ryder and Brodus Clay teamed up with Kofi Kingston to fill in for R-Truth.

WWE's roster has definitely been thinning by the day, thanks to injuries and suspensions. Mark Henry, Ted DiBiase, Wade Barrett, Evan Bourne, Rosa Mendes and Alberto Del Rio are all out with injuries. Chris Jericho, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio are all out with suspensions.

What does R-Truth’s injury mean for the already mediocre tag team division? What does it mean for Kofi Kingston?

Nothing much, if you ask me.

I love R-Truth, but his presence in the tag team division didn’t really elevate it.

As for what it means for Kofi Kingston, Kofi will likely get a replacement tag team partner (like Zack Ryder or Brodus Clay). It's not like Kofi and R-Truth had a good reason to team up in the first place. And if they did, please let me know.

Regardless, I wish R-Truth and all other injured superstars a speedy recovery. I also wish R-Truth a better role in the company when he hopefully returns.

A better role?

Yes. As I wrote in a previous article, R-Truth has the potential to be a main-event superstar. The "Summer of Punk" could have easily been the "Summer of Truth."
