Manchester United Transfer News: Red Devils Agree to Deal with Angelo Henriquez
Manchester United look to have landed themselves another teenage sensation in the summer transfer window after agreeing to a deal with Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez.
Henriquez will be picked up on a reported £3million deal according to Mirror Football.
Aged just 18 years, Henriquez has already impressed many through his performances at Universidad de Chile—scoring eight goals in just ten appearances for the club. He has also excelled for his country's age-group sides and would be a welcome addition to the United youth ranks.
With one of the top youth development programs on the continent—and, indeed, the world—the development of Henriquez at Old Trafford could reap great rewards for the Red Devils, who have already secured the services of Shinji Kagawa in the transfer window.
Henriquez's strength and skill in attack, as well as his great insight and knowledge despite his age has led to interest from several clubs around the world But it appears that the Manchester United youth development program is the most appealing offer on the table.
The Red Devils will most likely have to acquire a "special talent" visa for Henriquez until he wins a senior cap; otherwise they will be forced to send him to another European country on loan.
The deal is expected to be sorted out over the next few weeks. While you wait, check out some highlights of the teenage sensation.
Do you think Angelo Henriquez would be a good signing for United?
