Arsenal Target Marvin Martin Signs with Lille
Just days after letting go of star midfielder Eden Hazard, Lille has made a big splash in the transfer market by Marvin Martin, according to French reports cited by ESPN Soccernet.
Martin will make the move to the French club from Sochaux, who placed 14th this past season in the French top flight.
The 24-year-old was reportedly being looked at by two other Premier League clubs, Tottenham and Liverpool, according to Metro.

Martin was able to get his decision out of the way ahead of the Euro 2012 tournament as he will head to Poland and Ukraine with the French national team.
Although the Paris native may not start for Les Blues, he will be a key player coming off the bench for Laurent Blanc.
Martin has made 11 appearances for his country and has scored two goals as well for Les Blues.
At the club level, Martin played with his now former club, Sochaux for four seasons, with the 2010-11 season being his most successful as the midfielder provided 17 assists in 37 appearances and earned his first call-up to the French national team.
This season, Martin played in 29 Ligue 1 games for Sochaux and he scored only twice and notched five assists.
For Lille, the signing of Martin is a huge victory for the club who let their star, Hazard, go to Chelsea last week.
Bringing in a strong young French player will show their fans that they are still fighting to regain the French title and go past the group stage in the UEFA Champions League.
