Last month, the news of former WWE Champion John Cena filing for divorce from his wife of nearly three years made the rounds across the vast amount of wrestling websites on the Internet.

Following the news of the divorce filings in May, fans of the WWE wondered what the cause of the separation stemmed from along with a possible break from the rigors of being on the road for Cena.

Here are the details from entertainment website TMZ on the actual reason for the forthcoming divorce between the WWE superstar and his soon-to-be ex-wife.

It's becoming apparent why John Cena's marriage to his high school sweetheart fell apart -- the house they were remodeling was sending them to the poor house and the courthouse.

As he prepares to battle The Big Show inside the steel cage at No Way Out, the WWE should look for a way to write Cena out of current storylines at the next pay-per-view to give their biggest star a bit of a break.

The company had a great opportunity to ease Cena off television after his classic bout with Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules when he was dominated more than in any other match in his decade-long career in the WWE.

With his character in a bit of a slump as of late, in addition to the ongoing divorce hearings, do you think the WWE should give Cena a break from action and have him return to the ring later this fall?
