UFC 146 Start Time: When and Where to Catch Every Fight

Ben ChodosJun 7, 2018

UFC 146 will be full of drama, with Junior Dos Santos and Frank Mir going toe-to-toe in the main event.

Dos Santos took the heavyweight title in the UFC’s first ever fight on Fox. He is ready to defend his belt and is already predicting a quick end to the bout. He said, via Brett Okamoto of ESPN: “I'm ready for this fight. If he's not ready, it's going to be fast. It's going to be a knockout, second round.”

But Mir’s 14 wins in the heavyweight division are tops among all UFC fighters. He is experienced and will certainly be ready to go in the final fight of the night. He is choosing to avoid as much pre-match hype as possible, though, and said, via Matt Erickson of the Chicago Tribune, “I guess people are looking for me to say something special about it, but a fight's a fight.”

It is also the first time in history that a main card features five heavyweight matchups.

Right before Mir and Dos Santos take center stage, former champion Cain Velasquez will go against Antonio Silva. Velasquez’s last fight was against Dos Santos, and he lost by knockout. Silva was knocked out in his last fight against Daniel Cormier, so both fighters will be looking for redemption.
