Arsenal Transfer Rumours: Why Yann M'Vila Would Be Wise to Choose the Gunners
Arsenal and their fans are patiently awaiting the decision of Yann M'Vila as the French star is all set to make his decision sometime next week, according to Ross Jackson of Goal.com.
"Arsenal target Yann M’Vila has confirmed that he will make a decision on his future following Rennes' final game of the season against Dijon on Sunday.
'I'll make my decision after the game against Dijon [on Sunday],' M’Vila told RMC.
"
In earlier reports, it was thought that Arsenal was already close to a deal with M'Vila's current club, but it seems that is not the case with M'Villa admitting he is yet to make his decision.

Here was one from The Telegraph.
"Le Parisien, the French daily newspaper, has even reported that provisional agreement has been reached on a €22 million (£17.7 million) transfer fee and four-year contract. Arsenal sources are more circumspect and stress that no formal agreement has been reached. Indeed, the precise outlay of any deal is likely to be influenced by whether Arsenal clinch a place in the Champions League.
"
There's no doubt that joining Arsenal could help M'Villa's career out considerably.
Exposure
The Gunners are one of the premier clubs in the entire world, and when it comes to soccer, few do it better than they. Not to mention, Arsenal's fanbase is as big and as loyal as they come.
M'Villa would benefit greatly from a new angle of exposure that he wouldn't get with his current club. He can add new fans onto the stockpile that the French star is already collecting.
That would instantly give M'Villa's career a boost and could help him collect a bigger check not only on the field, but off it as well.
Improved Game
Arsenal's competition is second-to-none, and while M'Villa doesn't exactly have it easy where he is now, it won't get any easier with the Gunners.
The young Frenchman will be forced to step his game up and improvement will be much-needed for a still-developing star. The increased pressure and need to play at a higher level will help elevate M'Villa to true superstar status.
The same report from Goal.com shares a quote that shows even M'Villa himself realizes that there are challenges abroad, and improving his game might come with a change of scenery.
"'It is true that I would like to improve my game and for that, I have to look elsewhere. Why not in a foreign country?'
"
Long-Term Security
In the soccer world, transfers can often make it feel like a player is moving around more often than not. That being said, it's tough to find stability in the sport nowadays.
M'Villa could have a unique opportunity with Arsenal, something that Jackson's report also points out.
"M’Vila has reportedly been a long-term target of Wenger’s and it is expected that the Gunners boss will have to smash the club’s record transfer fee, currently at 15m pounds for Russian midfielder Andrey Arshavin, to secure the 21-year-old’s signature.
"
Forget about the potential price of such a move, Arsenal wants M'Villa for the future, and that means he could spend plenty of years as a member of the Gunners.
There's nothing better than job security and a stable place to play season after season. M'Villa could be looking for such a comfort, and Arsenal would be more than willing to oblige.
