Hope Solo, Serena Williams Strut Their Stuff on Vogue Magazine Olympics Cover

Gabe ZaldivarJun 1, 2018

Hope Solo plus Serena Williams equals a big reason to care about the latest cover of Vogue Magazine

The Olympics are here, and there is nobody happier than me, someone that loves to waste hours watching archery then turning the channel to catch the tail end of a women's volleyball match.

For two weeks, there is no reason to leave the house.

Stock up on Chef Boyardee and beer because the London Games are going to be filled with passion, pride...blah, blah, blah and hot women.

Vogue's newest issue features some of the marquee athletes from the upcoming Summer Games, featuring two of the biggest divas in sports: Serena Williams and Hope Solo.

The dude in the middle mucking up a perfectly fine cover shoot is Ryan Lochte, six-time Olympic medalist.

Fans of the male form will enjoy the issue with a spread whose theme is male Olympic athletes with model and ballet dancer Karlie Kloss.

If you don't believe that it's something for everyone, consider this little Annie Leibovitz photo.

As for the ladies, they get their very own spread to themselves, entitled Wonder Women

It seems you will need to pick up the issue to see a great deal more of Serena Williams, but here is a picture of Hope Solo amid the few that are featured online.

Can you feel that? Do you sense the world slowly going mad?

Soon, every last commercial, debate and highlight will feature the Olympics, and you haters can cry all you want.

Williams will be the greatest reason to watch the Americans on the tennis court. The only downside of such a thing is that we will miss her regular flare for the dramatic in the form of her usually hideous outfits

For Solo, she will be back in the spotlight, something she doesn't always enjoy as was seen in her eventual dismissal from Dancing with the Stars

She is back where she belongs and where we appreciate her far more, in goal for the United States women.

The cover may be just a taste of what is to come, but it doesn't mean I am any less excited.
